Summary:
The only thing Jackson Clark and Delilah Stewart have in common is their enthusiasm for meteorology. Jackson thrives on routine and organization, while Delilah is everything but organized. Forced to cover a historic snowstorm, they find themselves dealing with more they bargained for. Delilah is determined to be taken seriously as a journalist and makes a deal with Jackson that seems to help them both in more ways than one. But can what happened in the mountains continue to thrive back home?
Qualities:
Prose: The prose can be lyrical and is intended to be comical, serious, but heartwarming. It pulls this off well.
Character Development: The characters develop from a enemies to lovers as they work closely together. We learn about their family dynamics and how they grew up. Jackson and Delilah support each other in more ways than one.
World Building: Much of the world building is centered in a town within the mountains, miles away from their hometown. We get to see more of the layout and fuid between Jackson and Delilah’s bosses, the characters and their personalties and how that impacts the story.
Recommendation:
If you are interested in continuing the series, keep reading! I recommend this book to anyone interested in a grumpy X sunshine trope. Though in this case, its more of an routine X spontaneous trope. The bicker between the characters and their work dynamic is really interesting to get to know as it impacts their relationship and decisions.
