Qualities:

Prose: The novel is written in third person perspective with a witty, comical, but practical language that makes the novel feel approachable and relatable.

Character Development: The novel follows Rosaline Palmer’s personal and public life style as she opens up to people those that impact it for the better or worst. As her character delves deep into the challenges ahead, she begins to learn her self-worth and what she wants for herself despite what some people make her think.

World Building: The world building follows Rosaline Palmer through her personal life in England, her home, among those she's invited to, and the television set for Bake Expectations.

Recommendation:

I highly recommend this book to someone who is interested in baking, comedy, witty conversations, and contemporary romance with a love triangle. This book takes contemporary romance to the next level. It resembles the television show, The Great British Baking Show, but with a twist. It provides a sneak peak behind what really happens behind a televised baking show, how the people interact, what they do in their free time, and how the crew acts when they aren’t on film. This novel is worth the read and provides a lot of laughs.
