Summary:

Feyre returns to the Spring Court to spy on Tamlin and the invading king, risking everything in a dangerous game of deceit. As war looms, she must master her powers, protect her loved ones, and, with Rhysand, seek allies among the treacherous High Lords.

Qualities:

Prose: The book is lyrically written and the details of the fantastic realms make the book feel airy but tense with allure.

Character Development: The book follows Feyra’s point of view, delving into her back story and current predicament. I follows her involvement between the two high lords, dangerous people, along with other important characters that impact her decisions as high lady.

World Building: The world building starts out vast from the beginning and continues to grow alongside the characters, making up for vivid adventure.

Recommendation:

I highly recommend the third book in the series for anyone who is continuing to read the series and wishes to know more about the characters, the High Lords of the courts and their decisions before the war.
