Summary:

Qualities:
Prose: The story enlists figurative and imaginative word choices that usher the reader alongside Princess Odessa. The language is detailed but easy to understand, allowing for an immersive read.
Character Development: The choices that Princess Odessa makes can be dangerous but does a good job describing her characters expressive behaviors. The rest of the characters keep secrets that seem to pile up, making the reader guess their true intentions alongside Princess Odessa.
World Building: The description of every new contention, city and sea voyage is well done and unique to the story. As the scene changes and builds character, the reader gradually understands the perilous decisions and livelihood people must make survive.
Recommendation:
I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in a romantasy (romance & fantasy) novel filled with monsters, banter, secrets, and survival skills. This original story is well worth the read and is fast passed.
